Greetings Families of the Gilmore Elementary School,

I am excited to continue as the principal of the Gilmore School.  It is my privilege and honor to serve as team leader of our innovative and vibrant learning community.  I am looking forward to an exciting year of working together to provide your children, our students, with a rewarding school year.  We are very excited to take our innovative practices from the historical Huntington building and move into our new space at the Gilmore.

As many of you know, I possess a steadfast commitment to the families, students, faculty and community of the Huntington and Gilmore School.  I have been a proud member of the faculty for 15 years, first as a teacher and then as assistant principal.  Our main goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality education possible, in a safe and supportive learning environment, and that every student reach his/her individual goals.  At the Gilmore School, every student is valued and worthy of our best effort. Working together as a team, we are committed to helping students achieve their very best: "Every Child, Every Day, Soaring to Success"

As an Expanded Learning Time School, we are dedicated to ensuring that every minute counts in order to provide vigorous learning opportunities for our students.  Our school offers a 1:1 technology initiative in grades 1-5, partnerships with Bridgewater State University, the YMCA, Science from Scientists, and so much more.  As students sport their Huntington Spirit wear, we instill the core values of strong moral character and high expectations.  Through our enrichment hours, we provide quality programming under the themes of character education, community service learning, STEAM, health and fitness, and the arts.  With each new year brings new programs and activities.

As you join the Gilmore Learning Community, know that one of our most valued partnerships is that of our families.  We look forward to the achievements and strides each student, your child, will make these elementary years the most memorable.  We welcome you to the Gilmore.

Sincerely,
