Title I Virtual Learning

We are so glad you are visiting your grade level learning page.  Here are a few reminders.
  1. Remember to access the assignments using the BPS Learning at Home Button.  These assignments are your daily core lesson. Here is a video to help you.
  2. Complete the work here on these pages assigned by your teachers. (video)
  3. Each day, we want you to engage in Enrichment, so be sure to complete at least 1 assignment a day from our Specialists activities.
  4. Log in to CLEVER to access the digital resources. How to Video.
Remember, when you are in school, you have 8.5 hours of learning.  While you are at home, we want to be sure you get as much learning in as possible!  Do your best work, then share it back with your teacher using the email feature in Clever, or through the REMIND app link that your teacher has shared with your parent.

You can always email it to Miss O’Brien at marybethobrien@bpsma.org.
Enjoy your day of learning!

Dear Students and Families,
Thank you for your patience as we have been working to find ways to provide learning opportunities for our students during this extended school closure. Although it is not possible to truly replicate the school day at home, we can provide you with resources that will provide continuity of learning during this uncertain time.
These are just a few suggested activities to use with your children. If you have any questions or concerns you would like to discuss with me, please feel free to contact me via email.
          Thank you and be well,
                 Ms. Devaney

Letter from Mrs. Devaney
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that I have added a new reading link to my Clever page called Listen to a story.

Our friends from Unite for Literacy have developed a fun and free library of digital books on topics such as nature, health, families, and community helpers.

There are many different titles. Students can read them independently or click on the button and have it read to them. These books also have the option of changing the language!   This way you and your family can enjoy these books together.

I hope you and your families are happy and healthy!
Have fun reading together.

Hi Gilmore Family,
I thought it might be fun to share with you my new dog, Brinlee! My family and I are excited about having her. She is a Rescue Dog and she came all the way from Texas. We picked her up on April 18th, 2020 in Connecticut.
So far, we think she has been adjusting well. She is four years old and is a Yellow Labrador mix. All I know about her past is that her owners had to move and could not take her with them, so a neighbor was kind enough to take her. This did not last long though, because she ended up in a shelter, then she went to a foster family that takes in dogs until they are able to find permanent homes. Lucky for me, the adoption agency thought my family and Brinlee would be a good match and so far, I have to say we couldn’t be happier.
I will be sharing weekly videos of Brinlee, so if you want please feel free to comment, ask questions, whatever you want. You can also email me as well.
Love,
Ms. Devaney
